BJP national president Amit Shah will visit Telangana on December 24 to review the assembly election results in which BJP failed to retain their seats. Out of five seats which they had, BJP only retained a single seat and the remaining were swept by Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).
It is learned that Shah will also review the party's preparedness for 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Shah's visit to Telangana has been announced by BJP state president K Laxman who spoke to media on Saturday.
"TRS emerged victorious by sweeping out all the seats and the 'Telangana sentiment' has worked successfully," Laxman said. Currently, BJP holds an MP seat from Secunderabad which is represented by Bandaru Dattatreya.
