Modi to visit Kerala in January to address two rallies
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the month of January the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing two public rallies. The first rally will be addressed in Pathanamthitta on January 6 and the second will be in Thrissur on January 27.
On Wednesday the BJP state core committee meeting was held and decided to make elaborate arrangements for the rallies of the PM, so that they literally turn out to be the Lok Sabha campaign of BJP.
Meanwhile, C K Padmanabhan the BJP leader has been on a hunger strike for the last 10 days in front of the state secretariat, and was arrested and shifted to medical college hospital on Wednesday after his health took a hit and doctors advised immediate medical care.
Currently, the BJP state general secretary Sobha Surendran has taken over the hunger strike, with a demand of change in the attitude of the government regarding the Sabarimala issue and the withdrawal of prohibitory orders at the hill shrine.
As, the BJP core and the state committee has decided to continue the indefinite strike until the government takes a 'positive' step over the Sabarimala issue.
