Regional Ring Road for Telangana approved by NHAI

The central government on Friday approved the much-anticipated Regional Ring Road (RRR) to Telangana on Friday. Giving its nod to project, the authorities of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) directed the state government to submit a detailed report on the project and also asked to commence the acquisition of land.
The project will be stretched to 362 km around Hyderabad city to ease the connectivity between the regions around Hyderabad. It is learned that the road will be developed as a four-lane from Sangareddy to Kandi via Narsapur, Toopran, Gajwel, Jagdevpur, Bhongir, Choutuppal, Ibrahimpatnam, Chevella and Shankarpalli.
