Cop stabs father to death in Hyderabad

 A constable allegedly strangled his father to death and later on stabbed him to confirm the death on Friday noon in Gandhinagar.

The accused B Venkatesh who posted at Chikkadpally police station resides in Musheerabad with his family. It is learned Venkatesh has been on leave as he was suffering from a mental disorder. On Friday, when the family members were out for some work, Venkatesh strangled his father Yellaiah (58) with a towel. To confirm Yellaiah's death, the accused stabbed his father.

The police arrested the accused and launched an investigation. Venkatesh has a wife and two children while Yellaiah was rickshaw puller.
