HC issues emergent notices to Ambidant Marketing Pvt Ltd
BENGALURU: On Friday the high court had ordered the issuing of the emergent notices to the state government, CBI and the Ambidant Marketing Pvt Ltd in a petition which had been registered by 20 people.
Justice B Veerappa had also directed that the issuance of notices to the Udayagiri police in Mysore where a complaint has been filed against the company and its agents/directors.
The petitioners have contended that the Ambidant was set up in the month of December in 2016 with an authorized capital of Rs 1 crore and the paid-up capital of Rs 30 lakh. Although, they had no authorization from the authorities which were concerned, but the company representatives had been approaching the public with a ‘bandhan plan’ in which they were promised a weekly income of Rs 9,000-10,000 for a deposit of Rs 1 lakh. By doing so, the company had raised a huge capital not just in Mysuru but also across the state, including Bengaluru, they said.
The petitioners had claimed that the directors of the company Ambident are very influential and any investigation by the police won’t be the right thing because of political pressure.
The high court has directed the builder Vijay Tata to deposit the amount that has been mentioned in the notice that has been issued by the Central Crime Branch in two instalments of Rs 4.7 crore.
