Honour Killing: Parents kill daughter, burn her body in Mancherial for marrying inter-caste man

 In a suspected honour killing, a girl was brutally killed by her parents after she married an inter-caste boy in Mancherial.

The incident has sent shock waves in Kalamadugu of Jinnaram mandal in Mancherial where the parents killed their daughter Anuradha and later on burnt her dead body. Getting into details, Anuradha and Lakshman were in a relationship for some time. After failing to convince their parents for marriage, the duo got married on December 3, 2018 in Arya Samaj.

Fumed over their daughter marrying a lower-caste boy, Anuradha's parents Sathenna, Lakshmi and brother Mahesh thrashed her to death and later burnt her body. An investigation is underway.
