Metro operations between Ameerpet-Hitec City to begin by January end
Metro operations between Ameerpet-Hitec City will be commenced by January end, said Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) managing director NVS Reddy.
The metro line which was supposed to open in December has been delayed due to the ongoing tests. "Though the trial run has begun, the technical team is still inspecting various critical parameters and performance which will end soon," said Reddy asserting that it will be thrown open to the public in the last week of January.
There are eleven metro stations between the stretch which will commence operations in January last week. Madhura Nagar, Yousufguda, Road Number 5, Jubilee Hills, Jubilee Hills Checkpost, Peddamma Temple, Madhapur, Durgam Cheruvu, Hi-tec City, Shilparamam and Raidurgam are the metro stations between the line.
