Arjun Kapoor Learning Horse Riding For Panipat

Handsome hunk Arjun Kapoor is all set to explore “historic” war drama genre with his forthcoming outing Panipat with filmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar, the actor is learning horse riding for the prep of the role.

Arjun Kapoor just took to his social media profile and shared a candid picture of his riding lesson and wrote a message as well.

He shared, “New year, new learnings...so the last whole month of 2018 went in enjoying the company of an Animal, Mother Nature & Sunrises...as I gear up to restart shooting for Panipat I feel privileged to be able to learn this beautiful art of becoming one with this most glorious animal. The process of learning has been therapeutic & empowering at the same time. Can’t wait to get back on set with this new childlike excitement for what is my toughest & biggest film yet”

Further Arjun Kapoor thanked his teacher and entire ensemble of Panipat for bearing with him. The film is based on the Third Battle of Panipat, which is one of the most epic battles in the history of India that took place on 14 January 1761 at Panipat. The battle was fought between the northern expeditionary force of the Maratha Empire and invading forces of the King of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Abdali, supported by two Indian allies—the Rohilla Afghans of the Doab, and Shuja-ud-Daula, the Nawab of Awadh.

The action-packed period drama is produced by Sunita Gowariker and Rohit Shelatkar’s company – Vision World.

The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles, and slated for December 6, 2019 release.
