AP CM Chandrababu Naidu to receive Guinness book record on Polavaram

 Amaravati: The State government created wonder in construction of Irrigation Project Polavaram by pouring highest concrete in the world within 24 hours in a single stretch. For this achievement, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is going to take the Guinness Book of Records certificate today at 2pm at Polavaram dam site. 

The continuous pouring of concrete works began at 9 am on Sunday with a target of laying 28,000 cum material At Polavaram within 24 hours. But they completed more than 31,000 cum of concrete works by 9 am on Monday, explained Naidu in a press release here just now. 

He hoped that the more than 35,000 cum of concrete works will be completed by 10 am, in a single stretch. He appreciated the efforts of officials and other employees engaged in this work urged them to continue the same spirit.
