KCR asks TRS MP’s to demand 12% reservations for Muslims and economically backward

Hyderabad : Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday asked the TRS MPs to put forward the demand for 12 per cent reservations for Muslims and 10 per cent for STs in wake of Centre's move to provide 10 per cent reservations to Economically backward.
The TRS president had asked the MPs to raise the reservations of Muslims and STs proposed by Telangana government. He said that already State Assembly had passed resolution demanding increase of reservations and the need to bring it in Parliament. He wanted the MPs to propose amendment in the Bill to be brought by the government.
