NCDRC to hold Circuit Bench sitting in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) will hold Circuit Bench at Hyderabad for hearing cases pending of Consumer Disputes pertaining to the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The Circuit Bench will commence from January 28 to February 8 at Telangana State Food Commission Conference Hall, Adarsh Nagar. Consumer Disputes and Grievance under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 will be taken before this bench. Circuit Bench will take Consumer cases of one Crore and more also. New cases also can be placed before the Bench in this period.
The main purpose of these Circuit Bench sittings at different places is to ensure quick justice at the door steps of the Consumer so that they need not travel to Delhi for Redressal of their grievances.
The National Commission has held so far such Circuit Bench sittings at Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Cochin, Ahmedabad, Bhopal,Nagpur, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow and Kolkata.
Justice R.K. Agarwal will lead the Bench and undertake the Hearings of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
