TPF flays quota on economic backwardness

Musheerabad: Former High Court Chief Justice and BC Commission Chairman V Eashwaraiah criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for playing vote bank politics by introducing reservation bill for the economically backward sections.

He was speaking at a press meet organised by Telangana Praja Front (TPF) at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram in Bagh Lingampally on Wednesday. He criticised all the parties which supported the bill. Reservation could have been implemented only after giving Rs 8 lakh and five-acre land to people belonging to minority community, he added.

TPF state president N Krishna questioned the Central government why it is hurry to implement the bill while categorisation issue isn’t solved yet. He called upon SCs, STs and BCs to unanimously fight against the bill. We require power to rule in order to solve our problems, he added.  M Ramesh Devender, Saianna, Koti and others were present.
