APSRTC launch Sleeper buses as Sankranti special

Tirupati: APSRTC launches new Sleeper bus service from Tirupati to Hyderabad as Sankranti festival special. In order to clear the extra rush during the festival season, RTC management has taken this decision.

RTC regional manager Changal Reddy said that at present the Sleeper buses are with Manglam depot in the city. As soon as the registration works get cleared the buses will start the operations.

One Sleeper bus will start from Tirupati at night and will reach Hyderabad on the next morning and another one from Hyderabad and reaches Tirupati in the morning. Like this, two buses will be operating between Tirupati and Hyderabad.

The ticket fair in the special Sleeper buses is decided as Rs 1600 per passenger, Changal Reddy said.
