Couple killed after being hit by car in Suryapet

A couple killed in road accident in Munagala mandal of Suryapet after being hit by a car on Saturday. 

The incident occurred while the couple crossing the road after attending the funeral of their relative when a car heading to Hyderabad from Vijayawada rammed into them.

While the woman Kamalamma (53) died on the spot, her husband Muttaiah (53) succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment in a hospital in Kodad. 

A case was registered by the police.
