KCR slams centre for non-allocation of funds to Telangana

 K Chandrasekhar Rao, chief minister of Telangana slammed the centre for not allocating funds to schemes being implemented in Telangana. After a discussion on the governor's speech, KCR took potshots at centre for not granting funds to Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha even after being directed by the Niti Aayog. 

"The NITI Aayog told the centre to grant Rs 24,000 crores to Telangana but not a penny was released," said KCR. 

KCR also estimated the revenue and expenditure of the state would reach to Rs 10,000,00 crore. "Around Rs 20,000 crore has been spent on water projects in the state," said KCR adding that the state has to pay Rs 2,40,000 crore debt in the next five years. 

The CM also hailed the Aarogyasri scheme initiated by the former chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy and said that the scheme is being implemented successfully along with the TRS proposed Amma Vodi programme.
