'Sahasra Chandi Yagam' commences at CM's farm house
Hyderabad: The five day Sahasra Chandi Yagam commenced at the farm house of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao in Yerravalli village of Siddipet district amidst Vedic chants on Monday morning.
Under the stewardship of Swami Swaroopananda Swamy from Vizag Peetham, with the blessings of Jagadguru Sringeri Peetadhipati Bharathi Teertha Swamy, the Chief Minister along with his wife performed various rituals. Several MPs, MLAs, MLCs, CM Family members participated in the programme.
According to a press release from Chief Minister's Office, rituals were performed for the overall benefit of the people, successful continuation of welfare and development initiatives, abundant rains with bountiful of produce. Further, they prayed for the country and for a better administration. From various places nearly 300 seers have participated in the yagam.
