AP CM announces Rs 10,000 to Dwcra women

 Guntur: Dwcra women have the power to make the impossible as possible, and the Dwcra groups are like a Manasa Putrika to him, says AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking at the Pasupu Kunkuma programme organized at Nelapadu, in Guntur district on Friday, Naidu said that in order to develop the self-respect in women his government has launched Pasupu Kunkuma programme.

In 23 years, 93 lakh women have joined in the Dwcra scheme. though TDP government is running with deficit funds still they have given 21,116 crores under Pasupu Kunkuma scheme.

Naidu said that in joint Andhra Pradesh, he has taken all the initiatives to develop the Dwcra groups. Not as a Chief Minister, but he thinks like a head of the family, and CM said he is utilizing the gods given power in upbringing the women in the state.

By having these sisters beside me, nothing will happen to me, Naidu said. Naidu has announced Rs 10,000 financial support to every Dwcra women under Pasupu Kunkuma scheme.

In coming three months Rs 9,400 crores will be distributed, and by April Dwcra women can withdraw the amount under Pasupu Kunkuma programme, He said.

Naidu criticized that the Telangana government has not even given single paisa to women in the state.

Andhra Pradesh has become a role model in organic farming, and Dwcra groups should be a role model in the country. Naidu said that AP should give natural farming as a gift to the entire world.
