CM KCR to finalise MLC candidates soon

 Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who declared 105 candidates names paving a way for early assembly polls in the state is now gearing up to announce the names of 15 MLC candidates. It is already known that MLC elections are likely to be held in March and the names of the candidates might be declared in February second week. 

Around 16 MLC seats will fall vacant along with a nominated MLC seat on March 29 as the term will come to an end. Of the vacant seats, five are reserved for the members of the assembly, two for teacher's constituency and one each for graduates and Hyderabad Local Authorities constituencies.

However, it is known that three MLCs from TRS Ramulu Naik, Bhupati Reddy, K Yadava Reddy has been suspended by council chairman Swamy Goud for their anti-party activities and Konda Murali who served as MLC from TRS has resigned after joining to Congress. M Hanumantha Rao and P Narendar Reddy who have been elected to assembly were resigned to MLC posts and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy from Congress has also resigned after being elected to the assembly.

On the other hand, the election commission has already geared up to conduct biennial elections for two teacher's constituency, a graduate and a local authorities constituency. It also declared to unveil the final voter list on February 20.
