Second phase of Gram Panchayat polls ended in Telangana, 70 per cent polling recorded

 The second phase of Gram Panchayat polls ended in Telangana with a record of 70 per cent polling.  The polling was held for 3,342 Panchayats. The election notification was issued to 4,137 panchayats in the state of which 788 were declared unanimous and no polls were held seven others.

The counting of votes will begin at 2 pm.
