Governor congratulates Pranab Mukherjee on being awarded Bharat Ratna

Hyderabad: Governor of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana E.S.L. Narasimhan spoke to the former President Pranab Mukherjee, over phone and congratulated him on his being conferred  Bharat Ratna, the country’s highest civilian award. 

The Governor said he was delighted to know that Pranab Mukherjee has been conferred the Bharat Ratna. Recalling his association with the former President, Governor Narasimhan said Pranab Mukherjee deserved the Bharat Ratna Award, as an outstanding statesman who served the nation selflessly for decades with utmost dedication.
