‘Modi-fied India’: Followers of the PM Narendra Modi start campaigning to extend their support

BANGALORE: In the first week of March the Election Commission might be announcing the Lok Sabha election dates. As the Congress believes in strengthening its top leadership, due to the elevation of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as the AICC general secretary, the followers of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are doing all they can to extend their support to him.

A wedding invitation in Davangere contained the following message: Voting for Narendra Modi in the 2019 elections is your gift to us. The invitation cover was also included with a message on Swachh Bharat. The groom Nagaraj who works in a factory in Bengaluru will be marrying Rekha on the 8th of February and is a supporter of the PM.

Brother of Nagaraj said, “Nagaraj and I admire the work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We would like the PM to get a second term and this is our small contribution towards it.”

In Mangalore, Prakash Kini (58) an auto driver has already ‘Modified’ his auto-rickshaw for the Prime Minister Modi, by presenting a message which says, ‘Modi-fied India: Pukar Dil Se NaMo Phir Se’. “The party has not yet started its election campaign and hence I felt the need to spread the message,” he said.

In Mysuru from Monday, a MLA belonging to the KR Constituency, SA Ramdas, is prepared to distribute the Exam Warriors, a book by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to the SSLC. This is the contribution of the MLA to see that his constituency has 100 per cent success in the SSLC exams. “Out of 5,328 students who will be appearing for SSLC exams this year, about 1,268 children have not been able to clear the qualifying tests. Our focus will be on such students and we want to motivate them to perform better.”
