MANUU to host International Persian Conference

Hyderabad: Prof. Gholam Ali Haddad Adel, Former Speaker, Irani Parliament and Dr. Ali Chegeni, Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran will join Prof. Tariq Mansoor, Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University to open the All Indian Persian Teachers Association’s (AIPTA) 36th International Conference on February 5 at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). 

The conference titled “Contribution of Deccan (India) to the Persian language and literature” is being organized under the joint auspices of AIPTA and Department of Persian, Maulana Azad National Urdu University from February 5 to 7. Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, Vice-Chancellor will preside over the inaugural. 

According to Prof. Shahid Naukhez Azmi, Local Secretary, AIPTA & Head Dept. of Persian, the inaugural session of the conference will be held at Library auditorium in MANUU Campus, at 10.30 am. 

The aim of the conference is to promote and popularize the importance of Persian language and literature. Persian Teachers, Scholars and liberal patronage of the universities, colleges and institutions of higher learning will attend the conference.
