Woman dies of heart attack after casting her vote in Vikarabad

An elderly woman died of heart attack after casting her vote in Parigi mandal of Vikarabad district on Wednesday morning. 

Kore Venkatamma (60), who cast her vote in Mittakoduru village in Parigi collapsed at the polling centre due to chest pain. She was immediately shifted to a nearby private hospital where the doctors declared she was dead due to a heart attack.

However, the polling at the centre is reported to have been undergoing smoothly.
