AP Congress To Contest In All Segments

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee had resolved in the district party unit President meeting that the party will contest in  all 175 assembly constituencies and 25 Lok Sabha elections.  The District unit leaders were entrusted the responsibility of identifying suitable candidates.  

The APCC chief N Raghuveera Reddy said that the candidates will be finalised by February end.  As the AICC President Rahul Gandhi already made the promise of according special status to AP if voted to power, the state Congress leaders decided to take up intensified campaign on the issue and the party's stand in the poll campaign.
