Sarpanches to take oath today

 Newly elected sarpanches and ward members in Telangana will be taking oath today. The gram panchayat secretary will administer the oath to sarpanches while latter to ward members.

The new sarpanches will be undergoing training from February 11 to March 1 where they will be taught on Gram Panchayat rules, responsibilities, panchayat raj act and powers of Sarpanch. 

The training will be given three phases i.e, from February 11 to 15, the second phase from February 12 to 22 and the third phase from February 25 to March 1.
