Four die of electrocution in Srikakulam

Four people died of electrocution in Laveru mandal of Srikakulam district on Sunday. The victims were identified as Ramulu (50), Venkanna (50), Punyavati (45) and Bangaramma (40). 

Getting into details, the couple Ramulu and Punyavati along with two others had gone to their Banana orchard to cut the bunches for a marriage scheduled to be held on Wednesday. Ramulu and Venkanna came in contact with a live electric wire while working in the orchard. Seeing the two being caught with electric shock, Punyavati and Bangaramma touched the two to save them following which all the four died of the electric shock.
