Update: 2019-02-05 00:19 IST

Amaravati: The Telugu Desam Party has accepted the challenge of BJP president Amit Shah that NDA government has fulfilled promises made in AP bifurcation act.

Speaking to media Minister Kala Venkata Rao said that TDP is ready for the open debate on the issue, and asked BJP leaders to decide the place and time for the debate.

Kala said that without fulfilling the bifurcation promises BJP is spreading information among the people.

He alleged that as Andhra Pradesh is equally competing to Gujrat in the development, that's the reason why Modi is not giving special status to the state.

Along with YSR Congress party, BJP is doing conspiracy politics in the state. On Monday Amit Shah extensively toured the areas of North Andhra. In the evening Shah has visited Palasa town in Srikakulam district.

Amit Shah was supposed to attend a public meeting in the town, but due to less public in the ground, he canceled the meeting and addressed the gathering from the bus.
