NALSAR teams win two prestigious International Moot Court competitions
Hyderabad: Students of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad have again proved by winning two prestigious International Moot Court Competitions.
The team comprising of Sadhika Gulati, Oorvi Mehta, Abhishek Babbar and Tanvi Apte has been emerged as the winner of the National Rounds of the Phillip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition 2019. The NALSAR team has been qualified to represent India in the world rounds of the moot court competition. Out of the 31 teams participated in the India rounds for Jessup 2019, the teams from SLS Pune, NLU Jodhpur, NLUO and NALSAR have been qualified to the World rounds. And finally the NALSAR's team has emerged as the winner.
The team comprising of Jahnavi Singh, Manjri Singh, Rithvik Mathur, and Unnayan Mishra has been emerged as the highest ranking team at the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court Competition, India rounds, qualifying to represent NALSAR at the world rounds. The top 6 teams from a pool of 24 teams have been qualified to represent India in the world rounds for Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court Competition in which the team from NALSAR has been emerged as the winner.
Prof. (Dr.) V. Balakista Reddy, Registrar said that “Mooting is an important activity of the legal curriculum and winning the International moots is indeed a great achievement for NALSAR,”
