Gujarat officials praise Telangana's welfare schemes

Hyderabad : Senior IAS officer and Managing Director of Gujarat State Warehousing Corporation Sanjay Nandan visited Telangana to study the welfare schemes being implemented in the State to the farmers procurement of food grains under MSP Warehousing and Logistic facilities available in the State. 

He had a meeting with C. Partha Sarathi, APC & Principal Secretary to Government (A&C) Department at Secretariat in Hyderabad. Lakshmi Bai, Director of Agricultural Marketing, V. Bhaskara Chary, Managing Director, Telangana State Warehousing Corporation, Telangana State MARKFED & HACA and higher officials of the Concerned Departments & organization have attended the meeting. During the meeting the APC & Prl. Secretary Government of Telangana has briefed about Special and Unique being implemented in the Telangana State Viz Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, Mana Kuragayalu, Seed Bowl of India.  

Further, he was also apprised about 56.0 LMTs Warehousing capacity in holding in the State. 

The TSWC with a capacity of over 25.0LMTs has achieved 102% occupancy which stood in 1st in the Country which is counting with the same position for the last 3 years through Gujarat State Warehousing Corporation has around 35 LMTs with an occupancy of 99%

The Managing Director, Telangana State Warehousing Corporation has launched achievements made by the State of Telangana particularly under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has shown inclination to implement the same in the State of Gujarat.
