TRS senior leader and former deputy chief minister Kadiyam Srihari is likely to be given the legislative council chairman post by the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
With the tenure of the council chairman Swamy Goud coming to an end, the council chairman post will fall vacant. As Swamy Goud is not willing to take up the position again, the chief minister KCR is eyeing to accord the post to Kadiyam Srihari, it is learned.
On the other hand, the deputy speaker post in the assembly may be given to either Rekha Naik or Redya Naik as it is reserved for SC. According to the rumours doing rounds in political circles, Redya Naik has given the top priority for the deputy speaker post. If he is not willing to take up the post, Rekha Naik will be chosen for it.
