Lovers attacked with iron rods, girl dies, boy battling for life

Guntur:In a shocking incident, an unidentified miscreants attacked the pair of lovers at a isolated area, at International Cricket Stadium  in Mangalagiri, in which girl died, boy who was seriously injured in the incident battling for life in the hospital.This incident took place on Monday evening. Deceased were identified as Angadi Jyothi, 25, and injured was identified as Chenchu Srinu. 

According to police, lovers pair came near International Cricket Stadium.When they are alone, some unidentified persons,attacked them with an iron rods.Jyothi who was seriously injured in the attack, died on the spot. Seriously injured the Srinu informed the matter to the police. 

Mangalagiri rural police who swung into action, shifted Srinu to NRI General Hospital for treatment and started investigation. Srinu is unable to give information to the police, why they miscreants attacked them. Mangalagiri rural police informed that after completion of investigation, they can exact details.
