Private bus plunged into canal, lucky escape for passengers in West Godavari district

Undi: It was a lucky escape for passengers of a private supper luxury bus when it plunged into the canal near Undi village of West Godavari district in the early hours of Tuesday.

The bus was proceeding towards Bhimavaram from Hyderabad. The incident happened when the driver was overtaking a lorry and hit the bike coming on the opposite side. 

After hitting the bike the bus ran into the agriculture canal nearby. On seeing this incident the locals immediately rushed to rescue the passengers from the bus. If not many would have lost their lives.

At the time of the accident, a total of 20 passengers were present in the bus. In this incident, the person on the bike got serious injuries and he was shifted to the local hospital.
