TDP MP Avanthi Srinivas moving to YSRCP
Anakapalle Lok Sabha member M.Srinivasa Rao (Avanthi Srinivas) is going to join in YSR Congress Party. Srinivas who is presently in Hyderabad will meet YSRCP supremo Y.S.Jagan at 5 pm today. According to the information from the close associates of Avanthi Srinivas, the YSR CP senior leaders already discussed for the arrival of Avanthi into the party. Avanthi Srinivas will address the media and will resign to MP post after meeting with Y.S.Jagan, the sources said. Along with MP one of the sitting TDP MLAs in the district is also making grounds to join in YSR Congress Party, the sources added.
Meanwhile, senior TDP leaders are trying to catch Avanthi Srinivas. However, Srinivas is not available to anyone and switched off his mobile numbers. Srinivas, who joined in PRP and elected as MLA from Bheemili assembly constituency in 2009. Later, he contested as TDP candidate from Anakapalle Lok Sabha segment and won the election.
However, for the past one year, he is not happy with the TDP as the party denying Bheemili Assembly ticket to him for the coming elections. HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao is representing from Bheemili and the party already announced again Ganta will contest from Bheemili. As he is not interested to contest as MP, the TDP is offering Visakhapatnam North assembly ticket. Hurt with the developments, he has decided to join in YSRCP, the close associates of Avanthi Srinivas said.
