KTR offers Rs 25 lakh finanical aid to Pulwama martyrs' families
From the famous personalities to the common people, the entire nation has come to the aid of families of the Jawans who lost their lives in the terror attack in Pulwama district on Jammu and Kashmir. The home ministry also began a trust 'Bharat Ke Veer' to which one can voluntarily donate money.
Joining the list, TRS working president KT Rama Rao handed over a cheque of Rs 25 lakh for the families of Pulwama martyrs on Sunday. KTR who visited the CRPF Southern headquarters in Hyderabad offered tributes to the martyrs and handed over the check to higher authorities. He also offered another Rs 25 lakh check collected voluntarily by his friends.
KTR offered financial assistance on his personal capacity and not from the government or the party.
