Telangana BJP ropes in young policy expert to draft manifesto

In view of the upcoming general elections the Bharatiya Janata Party launched an outreach and engagement program titled 'Bharat ki Mann Ki Baat Modi ke sath'. Initiated by N Ramachander Rao, MLC and BJP Hyderabad president, the first event was held with leaders in the IT and allied sector presided by Union minister for IT and electronics Ravi Shankar Prasad. 

To further the engagement with people across different sectors BJP Telangana has constituted a manifesto committee. This unique committee comprises of senior, women and young leaders including Rakesh Reddy, Abhishek Jagini, Kishore Reddy and others.

Abhishek Jagini one of the youngest spokespersons of the BJP and holds a Master's degree in good governance and public policy. He is also a delegate at the World Hindu political conference and represented India at the youth leadership forum of the Shanghai Cooperation.

Speaking to the media, Abhishek said "I am thankful to Dr Laxman & N Ramachander for entrusting me with the responsibility." 

The committee will conduct interactions and engagement programs across Telangana reaching out to people from different backgrounds and strata. The programs will have drop boxes where in people can drop their ideas.

"It's a unique program to collate peoples ideas and enlist their needs, desires and aspirations to build a New India. Though Narendra Modi Ji takes many suggestions through the NaMo app, this program aims to make sure everybody's voice is heard in making of the vision document of New India", Abhishek added.
