Education Minister reviews arrangements for inter exams

Hyderabad: Education Minister G. Jagadish Reddy on Tuesday reviewed arrangements for the conduct of Intermediate Public Examinations beginning from Wednesday. 

Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education Secretary Ashok Kumar and other senior officials briefed the Minister that nearly 9.42 lakh students would appear for the exams at 1277 centres across the Telangana State. An App has been launched to help the students download their hall tickets and locate their centres. 

The minister was told CC cameras were being installed at all centres. Surveillance would be kept at xerox centres near the exam centres. Section 144 would be imposed at all 1277 centres. All students have been advised to reach the examination centre by 8.45 am and no one would be allowed in the examination centre even if they are late by 1 second after 9 am. 

Jagadish Reddy directed the officials to ensure supply of drinking water, uninterrupted power supply and medical teams at all exam centres.
