14 students booked for malpractice in inter exams

Hyderabad: As many as 14 students have been booked for malpractice during the English Paper - I exam conducted by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education on Friday. 

Of 14, as many as 12 cases of malpractice were booked in Yadadri district alone while one case each was booked in Medak and Vikarabad. One case of impersonation has been booked at Gokul Junior College centre at Saidabad in Hyderabad.

Of 482,157 registered candidates, as many as 458,652 appeared for the exam while 23,505 or 4.87% abstained. 

Observers were sent from Board to Medak, Kamareddy, Yadadri, Bhuvanagiri and Ranga Reddy districts.  Except 14 Mal-Practice Cases and one impersonation case, examinations were conducted smoothly and peacefully without any untoward incidents.
