Rajnath Singh inaugurates NIA office in Hyderabad

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has inaugurated a regional unit of National Investigation Agency (NIA) here in Hyderabad on Friday. Governor ESL Narasimhan, Home Minister Mahmood Ali, NIA DG YC Modi, IG Alok Mittal participated in the ceremony.
The NIA office cum residential complex has been constructed with a cost of Rs 45 crore in four acres of land at Khanamet near Madhapur. The foundation stone for the office was laid in 2016.
Speaking at the event, Rajnath condemned the Pulwama attack and called for the complete eradication of terrorism in the country. NIA plays a prominent role in building the nation and it has given complete freedom to investigate on ISIS, the minister said.
