Six candidates in fray for 5 MLC seats

Hyderabad: Six candidates are in fray for the election of five Members of Telangana State Legislative Council under MLA quota for which polling will be held on March 12.
According to Chief Electoral Officer Dr. Rajat Kumar, the nomation of Jajula Bhaskar of Shramajeevi Party has been rejected after scrutiny on March 1. Therefore, now there are six candidates in the fray.
They are Mohd Mahmood Ali (Home Minister), Mallesham Yegge, Seri Subhash Reddy and Satyavathi Rathod of TRS, Gudur Narayana Reddy of Congress party and Mirza Riyazul Hassan Effendi of MIM.
