Engine of Venkatadri Express derails in Kurnool

 Passengers of Venkatadri express had a narrow escape after the engine of the train derailed on Sunday morning in Kurnool.

The mishap was averted as the train was at low speed. The train is learned to have derailed at Kurnool while heading to Kachiguda from Chittoor around 6 am on Sunday.

The officials fixed another engine and shifted the train to Kachiguda.
