IT Grids director booked in data theft case

 In yet another case, a complaint was filed against IT grids company director Ashok on Monday for allegedly for obtaining public information from various government agencies of Andhra Pradesh.

YSRCP youth wing leader Dasharathaami Reddy lodged the complaint with SR Nagar police claiming that the company allegedly obtained data of people belonging to Andhra Pradesh from Sevamitra app. The SR Nagar police registered a case against the IT Grids director Ashok and launched an investigation.

On the other hand, the High Court in Telangana acquitted four employees of IT grids by dismissing the Habeas Corpus petition was filed in the court against their missing alleging that the police had arrested them. However, the police clarified that they have not arrested any employee of IT Grids and has only issued notices to them and the same was stated by the employees.
