TDP MP Ram Mohan Naidu concludes 15 hour Deeksha in Ichchapuram
Ichchapuram: Protesting over the removal of the Waltair railway division from Vizag railway zone, Srikakulam MP Ram Mohan Naidu has conducted a deeksha of 15 hours near Rail Nilayam in Ichchapuram.
Along with Ichchapuram MLA Ashok Bendalam, MP has started the deeksha in the evening on Tuesday. Today morning around 10:30 the college students have offered the lemon juice to Naidu and concluded the deeksha.
The MP Naidu is fighting on the injustice done to the North Andhra region by means of Vizag railway zone. Speaking on the occasion Ram Mohan Naidu said declaring the railway zone without Waltair is cheating, he demanded to include the Waltair division in the new South Coastal Railway zone, and till Ichchapuram the Andhra region should be included.
In order to take this message to PM Narendra Modi, from the North Andhra a new movement has raised, MP Naidu said.
The Waltair division has a history of 120 years and how can the central government remove this division from the new zone?, MP questioned.
Ram Mohan remembers that with the revenue of Rs 6,000 Cr, the Waltair division is one among the top five divisions in the Indian Railways.
In the fight of getting the Waltair division back in the railway zone, a 15 hours deeksha was conducted at Ichchapuram railway station, where MP Ram Mohan Naidu has sat on a dharna throughout the night.
