72 inter first year students booked for malpractice
Hyderabad: As many as 72 intermediate first year students were booked for malpractice during the conduct of Mathematics-IB, Zoology and History - I exams by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education across Telangana State on Thursday.
Of 72 cases of malpractice, Yadadri district is on top with 17 cases, followed by Sangareddy - 15, Nalgonda - 8, five cases each in Jangaon, Medak and Nizamabad, four in Jayashankar Bhupalpally, three cases each in Bhadradri Kothagudem and Jogulamba Gadwal, two cases each in Nirmal, Karimnagar and Vikarabad and one case in Suryapet.
Of 376,017 registered candidates, as many as 357,883 were present while 18,134 or 4.82% abstained.
Observers were sent from Board to Yadadri, Vikarabad, Ranga Reddy, Sangareddy, Medak, Suryapet, Nalgonda and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.
