SIT team reviewed the probe status in data theft case in its first meeting today
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted to probe data theft case held it's first meeting on Thursday. The team consisting of 9 officials under the leadership of IG Stephen Ravindra met and reviewed the latest status in the case. The Cyberabad police which has investigated the case till now is going to submit the records, evidences and seized materials to the SIT team to further investigate the case. SIT team is also going to probe on the involvement of government officials in transferring the sensitive and personal information of AP voters to the private IT Grids India Private Limited company and there by misusing of the data by them for their vested interests.
Meanwhile the SIT team is going to record the statements of four employees of IT Grids company whom the Cyberabad police already enquired them earlier. On the otherhand there are chances of getting the FSL report today which is going to be key for the SIT team to probe the case. On the otherhand the Amazon ang Google companies are going to furnish the information today on the notices issued to them by the Cyberabad police. Meanwhile four teams of Telangana police are still searching for the IT Grids Company Director D Ashok.
