Over 30K inter first year students skip exams

Hyderabad: As many as 30,364 or 5.86% of 517,985 registered candidates of intermediate first year abstained from the Physics, Economics, Classical Language - I exams conducted by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education on Saturday. 

A total of 77 cases of malpractice were also booked during the conduct of exams. 

They include 14 cases each in Nalgonda and Yadadri district, followed by Vikarabad - 10, Nirmal - 7, Hyderabad - 6, Suryapet - 4, three ach in Jagtial and Mahabubabad, two each in Karimnagar, Warangal (Urban), Jayashanker (Bhupalpalli), Khammam and Mahabubnagar and one case each in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jangaon, Nizamabad, Medak, Sangareddy and Nagarkurnool. 

Observers were sent from Board to Khammam, Nirmal, Mahabubnagar, Nagar-kurnool, Nalgonda, Yadadri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy and Hyderabad districts.
