Does the fear of failure immobilise you to such an extent that you've convinced yourself it's better not to even try? Here we tell you how to break out of this cycle and live fearlessly

One should get out of the denial mode 

Failure causes  serious dent to ones self esteem and it lowers self confidence. But if you accept that you have erred, the fear will cease to have an overpowering hold over you. Fear always Instils a feeling of disappointment and serve fright of dejection and rejection. 

You should face fear calmly , take deep breath and consider the worst that can happen it might help to do this exercise with a friend or therapist. Once you find clarity on the situation exactly as it stands, you will be able to find a plan to fix the problem and be more proactive. This will help you keep moving even through fear.

Celebrate your success 

One should learn to redefine failure 

If your goal is to achieve 90 percent and you end up scoring 40 percent, it's natural for you to think that you have failed. But you are completely ignoring the 40 percent that you have achieved. 

Every effort that you make needs to be celebrated and encouraged, so you can build confidence. Your focus has to be centred on how you do the task and not how you can manipulate a result that's not in your control.

Visualise obstacles 

A successful plan is one that takes into consideration all possible roadblocks. 
People who visualise future obstacles and struggles, and balanced them with positive thinking were more energised and accomplished their goals better than those who didn't. 

If you devise a plan to tackle possible obstacles you will feel better prepared to succeed even over hurdles that you hadn't anticipated. The mere act of preparing puts you in a winning frame of mind.

Learn from failures 

Every successful people you look up to have failed. You need to find out how they succeeded despite their failures.
