GST slowed growth plans temporarily: Desi Vibes
New Delhi: Desi Vibes, which operates its fine and casual dining outlet in the buzzing streets of Connaught Place, has said that Goods and Services Tax (GST) had an avid impact on the business in the hospitality sector since its roll out.
"Yes definitely, post the GST scene our business came down by 20 to 25 percent," said Pallav Goyal, Owner, Desi Vibes.
Desi Vibes, a reminiscing flash of all things desi, is an outlet that has paid attention to the decor details ranging from antique chairs of beaten wood, kancha & pebbles flooring, a small well in the center of the floor, mini cots, to a beautiful carved wooden tree with birds to add to the natural look.
Standing true to its name, 'Desi', the brand's journey so far has been satisfying for its customers.
"The journey has been great as there is a placement of the brand in the public space. Though it is still a little early to comment much as the business volumes have been more or less the same," added Goyal.
With interiors boasting puppets suspended from the ceiling along the bamboo, handi shaped lamps, weave theme of a traditional Indian village and much more, Desi Vibes offers dining experience as per the current trend in the food and hospitality business.
Keeping pace with the competition, Goyal said that the brand has made delectable additions in its menu.
"We have added a few items in our menu like Veg starter- Raj galouti, tandoori chaap, non-veg starter- Potli kebab, doranga seekh, murg reshmi banno, jalandari mutton amongst others keeping in mind the tastes and preferences of our customers," he added while commenting on the typically desi taste that the outlet is known for.
With taste that touches the heart, Desi Vibes has maintained its position in the market for luring the epicureans with mouth watering food and exhilarating beverages since last 12 years!
A relaxed yet pulsating vibe, the outlet is a perfect weekend getaway with quality food and drinks that fits the bills as the perfect venue for just about everyone.
Overall, the place is convincing enough and will score high on expectations and the bar of value for money.
