Why not match your genetic geometry with the most flattering facial hair style

Yes! It might sound counterintuitive, but the shape of your head-are you more of a basketball player or a football or a rugby ball? Should actually dictate your beard style and how you grow your beard. Listen, all face shapes are beautiful and unique in each way. And should be celebrated  as such. And you should grow your beard however long or fat you please. But if one wants to put their faith behind geometry and symmetry, then we’ve got some tips to help you out.

Oval: this is the most Aesthetically pleasing face shape out of all. It strikes a happy face between a long and short, narrow and wide. It graduates softly with no sharp edges. These are the important traits to be noted, because they dictate how guys with other face shapes might consider growing beards.

Oval faces: considering that oval faces are already the most  symmetrical pleasing faces, guys with these faces can attempt just about any type of beard, with little risk for how it will affect the symmetry. Bushy on the sides and short on the bottom will usually look just as flattering as short sides and fuller length.

Round faces: A lengthy beard will flatter you most, since it will elongate your as wide as it is round face. Try keeping the sides short and let everything under the chin grow fully.

Rectangular face: A beard with a short bottom and fuller sides will add width to your naturally more narrow face. This is a much better option than growing a long, narrow beard that counters all laws of symmetry.

Square faces: They go hand in hand with round faces, you want a long but narrow beard to add length to your face without widening it. Because your face is more angular than a round one, it important to shape the beard as it grows. Try sculpting it to round shape, more oval as it grows.

Triangular faces: Triangular faces protrude outwards. These face people have a wider jaw and a narrower forehead.

They create a tricky situation. You have 2 good options. The first one is to keep everything short and cropped.

The second is to grow long but to keep is short on sides then sculpt it inward to give your face and beard an overall oval effect.

Diamond face: As you’ve got wide cheeks and a narrow forehead and jaw. The best is to keep the sides short, while growing out the bottom of your beard.

But since your cheeks jut more sharply towards your chin, you may want to keep the chin hair sharply shorter than the rest of the bottom.
