Bachchan walks the talk

The current series of episodes of the famous show Kaun Banega Crorepati hosted by the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan ,inter alia, revealed in one of the episodes, that the actor, while interacting with a farmer-participant ,was moved by the plight of the farmers' utterly destitute and desperate position, driving  them to commit suicides for their failure to repay back of even small loan amounts,say of a mere ten or thirty thousand. 

He also appealed to his audience, both on sets and to the TV audience to help those needy farmers. It is now heartening to note that he actually walked his talk in the sense that he came forward to rescue those poor farmers from U.P. of numbering 1398 to the tune of Rs 4.05 crore.
