Have separate queues for women in Sabarimala

Update: 2018-11-24 05:30 IST

The decision of Supreme Court - quashing the rule that prohibits women from entering the Sabarimala temple is scientifically proved   that menstruating women have no ill-effects of any kind on people in public places such as temples and calling it a breach of the spirit of the Constitution must be followed in letter and spirit.

For practical difficulties of not accepting the mindset of many persons on this subject, it is suggested to have three different queues for entering and exit from the Sabarimala temple -one exclusively for women, second the common one for both men and women and third one exclusively for men-for those men who do not wish to stand with women in queue! This way sanctity of Court’s order will be maintained. With a passage of time practically one common queue of both men and women will prevail! It is not out of place to say that the reforms retaining   religious sentiments and taints in the right spirit of modernisation of personal laws is a must.
